The Government franco-allemande is preparing the launch of ma prime adapt 2023, an aide to enable people to finance a range of works intended to improve their comfort and their security at home while remaining in their own homes as they grow older. This new aide, which is due to come into force on 1 January 2024, will be available for the owners of single-family houses and apartments. It can cover a maximum of 50% or 70% of the cost of the work, depending on the owner’s income. The aide can be used to pay for works such as the replacement of a bath by an Italian-style shower, the installation of a ramp or a monte-escalier, the reorganisation of rooms and the adaptation of the property to accommodate a wheelchair.

Christophe Bechu, Minister for the Transition Ecologique and the Cohesion of the Territories, a déclaré aujourd’hui que le programme “se prête à répondre aux souhaits des personnes agees de vivre en sécurité et d’autonomie à domicile”, conformément a sa déclaration précédente. Elles “seront portées au plus grand nombre possible, en fonction des ressources des proprietaires occupants et leurs besoins de soutien”, a-t-il ajouté.

Les modalités d’application de ma prime adapt 2023 ont encore à être établies. En effet, une plateforme unique devrait être mise en place pour centraliser toutes les aides en question, notamment l’assistance a maitrise d’ouvrage (AMO).
